What is an orgonite?

Orgonite is a handcrafted device made from a combination of resin, metals, and crystal materials, designed to continuously interact with the energetic environment around it.

It is based on the concept of orgone energy, first explored through the work of Wilhelm Reich and later developed further by other researchers like Don Croft in orgonomy and applied energetic materials.

What does orgonite do in an environment?

Organic materials such as resin and inorganic materials such as metals are layered and combined into a dense matrix structure. Quartz crystals are also included to introduce additional structural coherence within the piece and help put out a harmonious, more coherent field.

Orgonite is always “on” once placed in a space.

Do I need to do anything to activate it?

No. Orgonite does not require activation, charging, or cleansing. It is designed to work passively once placed in an environment.

While orgonite functions regardless of attention, many people notice that when they intentionally engage with it, set an intention, or simply acknowledge it in their space, their awareness of its effects becomes more noticeable or immediate.

How do I know if an orgonite is genuine?

A genuine orgonite is defined by its structure and material composition.

A key factor is the balance of organic and inorganic materials, typically with a minimum of approximately 50 per cent metal content within the matrix.

However, it is important to understand that appearance can be misleading. In some designs, metals may not be visible on the surface due to layering, casting methods, or aesthetic finishes. This does not necessarily mean the metal content is absent or incorrect.

Because of this, visual inspection alone is not enough to determine quality.
