Orgonite care
Share
How do I care for my orgonite?
Orgonite is very low maintenance and does not require energetic cleansing, charging, or any special routines.
Does orgonite need to be cleaned or recharged?
No. Orgonites are designed as self-sustaining structures. Once placed or used, they do not need to be recharged or reset in any way.
How do I physically clean my orgonite?
If needed, you can simply wipe it with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then dry it thoroughly with a soft towel.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as these can damage the surface.
Can orgonite go in water?
Yes, orgonites are sealed in resin and are waterproof.
However, they are not designed to be directly in contact with drinkable water.
Can I put orgonite in sunlight?
Short exposure to sunlight is fine.
However, long-term direct sunlight may gradually affect the appearance of the resin over time (for example slight fading or yellowing). For best longevity, keep it in shaded or indoor environments when possible.
What about the metals inside?
It is normal for metals (especially copper) to naturally tarnish over time when exposed.
A slight tarnish is a natural process and does not affect the structure or function of the piece. Some people choose to gently polish exposed metal parts if they prefer a brighter finish.
What should I avoid?
To keep your orgonite in good condition, avoid:
- harsh chemicals or cleaners
- extreme heat exposure
- dropping or strong physical impact
- long-term submersion in water
Does damage affect how it works?
Small cosmetic flows and wear over time are normal and do not affect how the orgonite is working.
Orgonites are built to be durable, but like any handcrafted object, they should be treated with general care.
